Alltogether, we have received 172 abstracts of original studies, many thanks to all submitters! All abstracts were reviewed by the members of the congress Scientific committee, who also graded them and recommended the type of presentation (oral / poster). The Organization committee of the congress fully respected these recommendations. Due to the high number of submissions, we were not always able to respect the Authors´s wishes regarding the type of presentation. We plan organizing of Best poster competition and Guided tours of the best posters. We are looking forward to meeting you in Prague!

the registration to the 8th International Congress of Vascular Access Society is OPEN!
Please, take the advantage of reduced early registration to this most important international vascular access meeting! Consider also membership in the Vascular Access Society and get reduced congress fee.
Traditional sessions of VAS congresses include new techniques and technologies and state of the art in arteriovenous fistulas, prosthetic grafts and permanent catheters, diagnosis and therapy of various access complications, and many other. However, there will be also some news at this congress: heart and arteries is end-stage renal disease, vascular access for chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition, etc. Practically important is the adding of hands-on sessions, where you will get the opportunity to train yourself in vascular access ultrasonography, puncture, permanent catheter care etc. See the preliminary programme for more details.
